Go to the comment section of last week’s challenge.
Therein, folks created characters in whatever way they felt passed creative muster.
Your job this week is to reach in there and pluck out a character that intrigues you, and drop that character into a new piece of fiction of your own devising. You have 2000 words to accomplish this, to give you a bit of extra oxygen.
Please credit the original character creator in your post!
Post your story at your blog.
Link back here, yadda yadda.

Here’s my piece. It’s based on Anita Roger’s character https://writerchick.wordpress.com/2015/08/23/chuck-wants-a-character/

Hope I did him justice Anita!
shoot I posted it at 12 noon PST
I posted at 11:30 EST and been on moderation ever since. Pretty sure a lot of us are in that boat.
I think CW mentioned something about not being able to get to this til Monday. Could be wrong, but you could check, I think the post with his DragonCon schedule?
Ah, probably missed that. Well, understandable, the man’s got a life and all. Pity a lot of the stories aren’t going to be seen until then though.
“… Pity a lot of the stories that won’t be seen until then though” – So very true!
Would it be a faux pas to click on a poster’s name because it sometimes brings you to their blog or another page where you can find the story?
Won’t work with mine sadly, since it links to my Twitter instead. Well, it’s not like it’s going anywhere.
Well, I -do- see you posted a link to your story on your twitter feed … 🙂
Quiet, you!
yeah he did mention that…I think MR Eggs idea of clicking on someone’s name might work though 🙂
Here is what I came up. You can see the link to the character I chose embedded in my post. This was fun.

Mine’s was late, but it’s a busy time of year at the full time gig. I surprised myself getting going and posted on the day. Still finishing the Snow White & Avatar mash up. I think I got too in the weeds for it, but I’m having mostly fun. 😀
