A little late to the party, but this was another one that went in a completely different direction than I’d originally expected. “Wife of the Woman:” http://www.ridleykemp.com/stories/2015/7/9/wife-of-the-woman
Oh nicely done!
Thank you very much!
Had to subscribe first… new to the blogging thing. I know, I know, very 2002 of me. So yeah, let’s see how this goes…
And here it is. Please tell me I’m still on time?

Hope it’s not too bad…
I picked “The Seventh Planet” and ran with it. A little long, but hopefully enjoyable.

Here’s my story, Splintered Voyagers. It went so long I had to chop it up into two parts. Here’s part one:

Enjoy!
Whoops, double posted. Sorry folks!
Right, so I get to give you a taste of “Cold Lords” this week. https://mxgomez.wordpress.com/2015/07/09/cold-lords-a-chuck-wendig-challenge/
Once I started writing I had to change the title a little. But here is “The Power of the Butterfly.”

So just in time – one of my six let me off easy… Dark Stones. Now to get to reading some of your own stories! http://idreamofgypsies.blogspot.com/2015/07/dark-stones.html
Wow, a lot of folks went spooky or creepy! I went in a very different direction, with the title “The Rough Dreams”.

Not sure why, but the comment I first posted is “awaiting moderation”. I’ll try again — I wrote a mythology piece based in the world I created for a previous challenge in “Done Deal”. Enjoy!

Beautiful and chilling and hopeful. Thank you for sharing, Kate.
https://katethesape.wordpress.com/2015/07/09/over-the-writers-block-and-into-the-bare-souls-new-flash-fiction/ I tried posting this using my WordPress account but entries say they’re “awaiting moderation”. So I’ll try once more — this is a mythology piece I wrote to explore more of the world I created for another challenge in “Done Deal”. Enjoy!
[…] is my entry to the flash fiction contest at Chuck Wendig’s Blog It comes in at 1000 words exactly including the title. . .hope you enjoy. Had some fun with […]
Here is my attempt. . . hit it at exactly 1000 words including the title. The title I chose was “The Gift of the Nothing”

Loved it, especially the twist midway through. Thanks for sharing, parallaxduality!
Here’s mine! “A Touch of Flame” http://www.jamiewyman.com/?p=2648
I’m a bit too late, but I’ve still got a piece for you.
Check out “First Healer,” right here:

So I was just in time but posted under a different account and I’m still awaiting moderation so let’s try again – one of my six titles let me off pretty easy… Dark Stones. Now to get to reading some of your own stories! http://idreamofgypsies.blogspot.com/2015/07/dark-stones.html

Why does it say that my comment is awaiting moderation? I believe that I use moderation in all things 😀
But just in case it didn’t show up, here it is:

What a lovely story. The ending was a surprise, for sure. Who knew butterflies could be so powerful? Thank you for sharing, Rebecca Douglass.
Mine too. Looks like the ship is drifting into treacherous waters without its able captain!
I got the same thing. . .I try and moderate myself but I usually can managed to sneak around myself when I am not looking and get away with things so. . . I can understand the need to be moderated.
“The Magnificent Slaves”
Maybe not?
Meh, what could go wrong?
I’m ridiculously late, but what else can one do when Chuck’s off enjoying himself? My Random Title that I kept for a blank Friday was Windows in the Serpents. Enjoy!
