Second trailer for BLACKBIRDS and MOCKINGBIRD.
Featuring a brand new piece of Miriam Black flash fiction.
Written words by me.
Spoken by Dan O’Shea.
Directed and animated by Alan Stewart.
Alan did a bang-up job with this. I’m really, really blown away.
And Dan’s voice is just the gritty gravely throat-grab I was hoping for.
Thanks, all.

A.M. Schultz says:
Best book trailer I have seen by a mile. I was losing faith in the medium after a few dozen of the cookie cutter “still frame, still frame, loud-bang-over-ominous-music, title” numbers that are swimming around out there, but this one was fantastic.

Sally E. Coenen says:
That was quite fabulous. Very simple, yet very striking. I liked that the words were the major focus.

That’s really cool! I’ll have to check out Blackbirds now.
How do you do that “kinetic typography” stuff, anyway?

E.Maree says:
I love kinetic typography work, so I loved this, and the flash fiction was brilliant. Great voice, and the final minute honestly gave me chills.

Chills… all the way and all the way down.
Dan’s voice is just brilliant for that.

Great flash fiction. The guy’s voice was great. Listening to an audiobook by him would freak me out after a while though.
