Ideally, it&#8217;ll be something we&#8217;ve all seen or read &#8212; so,\u00a0<strong>Die Hard, Lord of the Rings<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Star Wars<\/strong>. Even better if the scene you pick is something <i>iconic<\/i> &#8212; the showdown between John McClane and Hans Gruber, the OH SHIT YOU&#8217;RE MY EVIL SPACE DADDY scene between Luke and Vader.<\/p>\n<p>Take that scene.<\/p>\n<p>And rewrite it.<\/p>\n<p>The trick is, rewrite it with a new genre.<\/p>\n<p>What genre it ends up with is your call.\u00a0<strong>Star Wars<\/strong>\u00a0as a horror film?\u00a0<strong>Die Hard<\/strong>\u00a0in an epic fantasy context? Your call.
