Except now, because I&#8217;m a jerk, I&#8217;m changing the rules.<\/p>\n<p>The rules are: you&#8217;re still going to continue a story from last week&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>But you&#8217;re not going to finish not. Not yet.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re going to write the <em>middle<\/em> 500 words.<\/p>\n<p>So: pick a story written by someone else from last week&#8217;s challenge.<\/p>\n<p>Then, add your own 500 words onto it to continue the tale.<\/p>\n<p>Post the entire story so far at your site (~1000 words).<\/p>\n<p>Then, <em>next<\/em> week a third writer will actually finish the tale.<\/p>\n<p>DUN DUN DUN.<\/p>\n<p>*crash of thunder*<\/p>\n<p>So: to reiterate?<\/p>\n<p>Pick a story.<\/p>\n<p>Not your own.<\/p>\n<p>Write another 500 words.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t finish it.<\/p>\n<p>Got it?<\/p>\n<p>Good.<\/p>\n<p>Continue the story!<\/p>\n<p>Due by next Friday, noon EST.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week&#8217;s challenge is quite relevant, sooooooo &#8212; Make with the clicky clicky.
