Muddy and uncertain?<\/p>\n
Elegant?<\/p>\n
Is there a good rhythm?<\/p>\n
Does it go on too long?<\/p>\n
Examine the sentence. A sentence — above the word, at least — is the smallest building block of our writing and storytelling, so it behooves us to learn how to write a whip-crack of an example.<\/p>\n
What makes the sentence work?<\/p>\n
What causes it to fail in its mission?<\/p>\n
Post a sentence.<\/p>\n
Critique a sentence.<\/p>\n
Discuss.<\/p>\n
And, as always: be kind, be constructive more than destructive, and remember that any and all critique is\u00a0largely\u00a0<\/em>subjective.
