Excerpt And Cover Reveal: The Book of Accidents, July 2021
Hey, psst. Hey, kid. You wanna read a spooky book? Well, okay, you can’t, not right now, but coming in July, you can totally read my newest, The Book of Accidents. You can check out the cover and an excerpt, though, right damn now, over yonder hills at Polygon. (Thanks to Polygon for hosting the reveal!) And you can pre-order the hardcover right damn now, either by calling your local indie, or at these links: Indiebound | Bookshop.org | B&N | Amazon.
I do not know if I’ll be touring for this one or what — it comes out July 20th, and given that there’s a pesky global pandemic going on, it remains unclear what is to come. But, there’s also a not-pesky set of vaccines on the horizon — so maybe, just maybe, there will be some flexibility in being able to do in-person events.
More as I know it.
Go get spooky!

Hi Chuck, Janet here, from Campbell River, BC Canada – LOVE the new book and thank you for the sneak peak. I’ll be shoving my dollars your way (again). Thanks for setting the bar – your writing skills are top-notch! I shared your sneak peak onto my writing group at SFU Writers Studio. Should give you a few more fans. Stay safe.

Interesting premise. Fun fact: My current blog topics are “How to Crochet During the Apocalypse.” It’s a memoir of my year in a commune.

*slaps money down on a virtual countertop* Don’t mind me, just purchasing my birthday present eight and a half months in advance… (It actually comes out four days after my birthday, which is exciting!)

HAPPY EARLY BIRDDAY

Will there be signed editions available, Chuck? Not that it matters. I’ll buy The Book of Accidents regardless. It would be cool to have the autograph of the guy wot created Miriam Black though!
I recently picked up/online at Waterstones, a signed copy of Tana French’s The Searcher. That gave me a buzz!

I have to hope — I don’t know if they’ll be editions available at launch or just me signing books at bookstores. 🙂

Ok! I’ll keep a look out!

Your work is slays on every possible level. I’m preordering(!), and will be rereading WANDERERS because of course now I need a Wendig fix.
