You may remember when I said, “Hey, there’s this awesomely perverse book about Santa Claus, and it was written by this great writer, Robert Devereaux, and goddamnit, I lost my copy.”
Thus unfolded a cosmic chain of events.
Well, okay, not exactly cosmic. What happened was, Robert Devereaux — the author of said book — read that post. And then he contacted me on Facebook, and then he got my address, and then he sent me a brand spanking new signed, numbered hardback copy of Santa Steps Out.
Holy crap.
This is ludicrously awesome.
I mean, we’re talking pants-wettingly great. My pants are sodden with joy.
Plainly, Robert Devereaux is a bad-ass human being. And that is in addition to being an excellent writer.
Go buy Santa Claus Conquers The Homophobes.
He’s also got a free novel in PDF over at his site — Deadolescence: A Tale Of Love And Sacrifice. Check that, too.
I am geeked.
Oh, and I know I’m over here blogging twice in one day. You shut up. If Will Hindmarch can do it, so can I. Suck on those plums, buddy.

THAT is frigging awesome. I’m sodden too.
I love nice people. He’s Nice People.
Take good care of it, but for God’s sake, read it. If you enshrine it I will slap the beard off your face.
That’s totally fly.
You can blog as much as you want.
Don’t read it! You must remain Magic Talking Beardhead. If you become Crosseyed Redcheeked Babyface, I will make half-hearted threats that I have no intention of backing up and flail impotently at my keyboard for at least a minute or two – if even that. Julie seems like the kind of person that doesn’t fuck around, so read it!
That is freaking awesome as hell, Chuck. I wonder if I can get something similar by blogging about Kathy Ireland and how I miss… never mind.
I’m reading a sample of Santa Claus Conquers the Homophobes (gotta love the Kindle), and loving every bit of it – meaning I’m just a quick wireless transfer away from turning into a customer.
Just to let Mr. Levereaux know (in case he lurks in here in the future) that him being this incredible human being also does work very well as promotion. I say this with no sarcasm, just as an acknowledgement.
It’s a pity his first Santa novel isn’t available to Latin America on Kindle store. It’d be so much easier (and substantially cheaper) than importing the physical copy, but… Oh well, what can one do.
