I hate you, JNew.

I know, I'm a d-bag, I know.

But to be fair, whacking off is like, 30 seconds for me. I'm a virtuoso on my own mandolin, is what I'm saying.

Where are my notes, Chuck? You have time to spew out this stuff everyday, but not send me my notes? F you, man!

I kid (no really, send me the bloody notes). I'm sure you're very busy (but not too busy to whack off over the internet daily). Thanks for what you've already sent (a paragraph my mom could've typed).

Come on Mena!

I bet a spider can do things a fellah can't. It has mandibles, after all, and a bunch of 'em! Just picture it! Ah, the French. Puts "French Kissing" into a new light.

Interestingly, (to me at least) I had never considered my NaNoWriMo novel a heap of chud, and I still don't, but I've revisited it and revised it for periods surrounding these past two Novembers. Sometimes revision is like that relationship you just can't stop falling into, and the times asunder just make it more potentially fulfilling the next time.

Oh, and I want a gravitar (and name, for that matter) like Doyce Teststerman. Writers who look that British action hero bad-ass are rare, indeed.

I may never ever forgive you for the spider oral. I just want you to know that going forward. So when I've snapped and am making quaint decorative crafts out of human body parts you may find yourself being a lamp shade.

That said, what about the work you can't sit on for a month. Is there any way to artificially separate yourself from the work is a rush? (I'm rather sure there isn't, but if there is, I'm sure this is the place to come up with some ideas. Good brains here.)

It is, because it's that oh-so-excellent "moment of clarity" -- the curtain of bullshit parts, and you can see the truth for the project. I'm surprised at how often the things I loved, I don't love after that separation, and the things I hated, I don't hate. Sometimes, they switch! Fun!

Step #3 was huuuuge with Spirit of the Century. Rob and I came back to it after a break and were all like, "Wuh? Who wrote this?" It's a good space of mind to be in.
