Codpiece Johnson. With a bullet.

Following that, I say stick with Wendig. Why? It’s different, and thus memorable. No one gives a shit about Chuck Wendig, that funny bird killer in Pensultucky. But Chuck Wendig the author? Think about how many times people have said “I read this book by this guy… what was his name?”. With you, they may not get the name exactly right but its uniqueness will make it stick out at least partially.

I also agree with Fred on the Wendigo thing. Algonquians will be fucking TERRIFIED of you.

“Chuck” — if that is your real name — is a perfectly good start. It’s a verb. It involves throwing things. Which is directly relevant to the response one has to reading your blog. What? I said it.

“Wendig” — come on. That’s one vowel away from “wendigo”. In some versions of the wendigo myth, that makes you a cannibal ghoul. You eat people. Folks should be forewarned!

Put them together and I know that I’m throwing a cannibal ghoul right at, I dunno, the heart of the sun or something. Sounds like something I’d want to do!
