I enjoyed this one in particular -- especially the bit about tracking traits. I've been thinking the same thing for a while, and it's nice to hear someone else help solidify my thoughts.

Unrelated: How do people have their own little personal icons here? Is it a Wordpress.Org thing?

Righto. SotC and the like; makes total sense. In line with Terminus Est, too, having playtested that.

I'd love to rock up my own RPG one day. I'm just not sure of the value.

Your Three Traits are a not-uncommon technique in Aspect-driven RPGs (or even in games with things that are just like Aspects). I'm a big fan of straight-up descriptors as game traits, and I tend to think of things like skill lists as descriptors anyway.

Got points in Firearms and Empathy? The intersection of those skills should say a lot about your character.
