Great list – Boy’s Life is on my all time top ten list, and Mystery Walk is the only book set where I grew up. I had the pleasure of meeting Rick for the first time shortly after the paperback release of Baal, and I can tell you he is as good a person as a writer.

Wolf’s Hour would do well with a sequel, I think — given that McCammon is now writing historic fiction, it seems to me there could be a place for that, but I certainly won’t hold my breath.

The Wolf’s Hour…OMG I can’t say enough about how great this book is. I carry it in my purse and read it all the time. To everyone: Read this book!!! I wish there were a sequel. And a Gallatinov ran… The Matthew Books ROCK!!! Boy’s Life is the greatest. I Love you Robert McCammon.

I have been a McCammon fan for YEARS(80’s)! And Yes, Sawn Song is best to start with but I think Boy’s Life and then Mystery Walk, no Wolf’s Hour, no….well I just don’t think any of his books are any thing other then number one’s! I have re-read them for years. And I have a signed hard copy of Swan Song too.

Judging from my screen name and email you’d think I was just a fan of Stephen King right? WRONG. I started reading McCammon in the 80’s, was heart-broken when he went on that 10 year hiatus, and am loving his newer stuff!
How does one acquire an ARC., I want Mister Slaughter Like Yesterday! My top 4 fav’s by him, Swan Song, Mine, and The Wolf’s Hour, and Usher’s Passing and I need to re read Boy’s Life and Gone South., and all of them actually, haha. I also push McCammon on everyone I know. I am AMAZED more people don’t know about him, living under rocks they are! Hopefully not for much longer.
