Scrippets
  • Test post of Scrippets (thanks to Will Hindmarch for pointing this out — Will is becoming my Technical Sherpa walking me up the mountain of Bloglightenment).

EXT. OLD VICTORIAN HOUSE (DRIVEWAY) – MORNING

FRANKIE’s a tall drink of water: Droopy Dog face with a Sam the Eagle nose. He wears a dark suit, white shirt, dark tie.

HARRIET is both his opposite and his complement. She is a short, squat woman with dark eyes and sharp straight bangs. She wears a wine-colored turtleneck.

They share an aura of menace.

    FRANKIE
    This the place?

    HARRIET
    I believe so.

    FRANKIE
    Jesus Fuck, I’m tired.

    [/scrippet]

Not bad. The formatt’s a bit off. But, I like it. Neat little way to incorporate script snippets (hence, “scrippets,” I assume) into the blog. Cool. Thanks, Will. Thanks, John August. Thanks, Internet.

(Oh, also: you’ll note a Lifestream plug-in widget now clings to the right-hand sidebar of this here bloggery. Enjoy. Or don’t. I don’t care. Shut up.)

Can you believe how easy this shit easy now that you’re off that wrinkly old site of yours?

  • It’s true. I feel like this is the future.

This new incarnation is a shiny maglev train, rocketing toward a city made of solar panels.

The prior incarnation was an old man’s balls, wrinkled, full of nothing but dust and the stink of Bryl-Creem, dropped from a second floor window and into a corroded bucket.
